Mama Flow Co. provides educational fitness programs and coaching services for the postpartum population. The information, programs, and coaching provided are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment and are not intended to replace care from a licensed physician, OB/GYN, midwife, or pelvic floor physical therapist.

Scope of practice

The owner of Mama Flow Co. is a certified personal trainer with pre & postnatal certifications. She is not a licensed physician, physical therapist, chiropractor, or other licensed healthcare provider, and does not diagnose or treat injury, prolapse, diastasis recti, or any medical condition.

Get cleared first

Always consult your healthcare provider before starting any postpartum exercise program. We strongly recommend a pelvic floor physical therapy assessment as the gold standard before beginning training, especially if you have any of: prolapse symptoms, urinary or fecal leakage, pelvic pain, painful intercourse, significant diastasis, C-section or perineal scar pain, or bleeding.

Stop and seek care

Stop exercising and contact your healthcare provider immediately if you experience bleeding, dizziness, chest pain, shortness of breath, severe pelvic pressure, leakage, new pain, or any other concerning symptom.

Exercise carries inherent risk of injury. By using any Mama Flow Co. program or service, you voluntarily assume all such risk and release Mama Flow Co. from liability to the fullest extent permitted by law.
